Black Tupelo (Nyssa sylvatica)




Black Tupelo aka: Black Gum Trees (Nyssa sylvatica)
These are New Hampshire's old living trees (up to six hundred years old).
According to Earth-planet, the fruit is edible, though there is a large seed.
